On this day – we dropped off the cousins at the station – going back to London – and my brother and I decided to go through to a few places we miss out on – The most important thing to accomplish on this day was to get our watches fixed at a Swatch shop we found in Paris – I know this sounds a bit weird – but everytime we found out the price for a battery change – we were quoted around R200 (approx. 20€) – and for a band R300 (approx. 30€) – to our amazement – this store charge 6€ for the battery (R60) & 20€ for the band (R200) – much cheaper and more helpful staff as well

So we made our way to the station – on our way back to London – had lunch and then we get an announcement over the intercom that someone left unattended luggage in the Eurostar terminal – now this is something serious – all the Eurostar trains were put on hold until the Police arrived to check the luggage – 1 and 1/2 hours passed – the police came – and went – but nothing – the people waited – and waited – and waited

to pass the time – we got some ice cream – walked around – so here it is – the people traffic started moving – trains were about 2 hours late – the people on the 1pm train were leaving around 3pm – so we were on the 6:30pm train – hoping to leave around 8pm / 8:30pm – but when it came to our time people – nothing – every notice gone – and sitting ducks we were – and then after another hour – we find out that all the trains are cancelled and 1st come 1 serve basis for the seats as well – so in the que – and we finally leave at around 9:30pm – 3 hours late – we reached London at around 11:45pm – why – because the train we on was not a direct to London train – our luck – so as soon as we reached – just managed to get the last tube trains to Lancaster Gate Station –
